Corona situation picture for Jena
The Health Service reported no new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Sunday, 10.10.2021. At the weekend, 32 new cases were reported (Friday. 08.10.: 15, Saturday, 09.10.: 17).
Since the weekend, one person who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus has been hospitalized.
Background to the infections
Many infections have been passed on within the family. Follow-up cases have also occurred in schools and quarantine measures have been imposed:

- Wenigenjena Community School
- Lobdeburg School
- West School
Infections were also reported in professional environments. A single case in a social institution did not result in any subsequent infections.

Quarantine orders apply to 650 people, 125 of whom are returning travelers (as of 05.10.2021) According to the Thuringian early warning system, warning level 1 applies for Jena.
