Demonstrations: Significant traffic obstructions in Jena on Friday

Two major demonstrations have been registered in Jena on Friday, 24.05.2019. These demonstrations will cause considerable traffic obstructions in the city center.

First demonstration

The first demonstration (Fridays for Future) starts at 12:00 and ends at 15:30 at Holzmarkt. The march itself starts at 12:30 and ends at 14:30.

The following elevator route is planned:

Holzmarkt - Engelplatz - Schillerstraße - Ernst-Haeckel-Platz - Ernst-Haeckel-Straße - Vor dem Neutor - Phyletisches Museum - Knebelstraße - Fischergasse - Löbdergraben - Unterm Markt - Rathausgasse - Kirchplatz - Johannisstraße - Leutragraben - Teichgraben - Holzmarkt

Second demonstration

The second demonstration (Aufmukken für ein soziales Jena) starts at 15:30 on the Holzmarkt and ends at 22:00 on the Rasenmühleninsel. The march itself starts at 16:20 and ends at 19:30.
