Determination of property tax A and B for 2023 by public announcement

Once again this year, only those owners of properties in Jena who only became liable for property tax on 01.01.2023 or for whom the basis of taxation has changed will receive a written notice.

As the assessment rates for property tax remained unchanged again in 2023, the property tax for all others was again set this year by public announcement(Official Gazette no. 1/23 of 05.01.2023) in order to save costs.

Accordingly, these property owners must pay the same tax as in the previous year and are requested to refer to the due dates and amounts in the last property tax assessment notice sent to them (for 2020 or later). The payment schedule for the following year applies.
