Discounted four-trip tickets for JenaBonus beneficiaries

As of today, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Jenabonus holders can purchase three (previously two) discounted four-trip tickets per month for Jena's public transport system.

This implements a city council resolution. The total package costs €18. This means that the price for one of the 12 individual journeys is €1.50. The subsidy per person and month is €9. The money comes from the social services department.

These are available from the Stadtwerke and Jenaer Nahverkehrs customer center at Saalstraße 8a on presentation of the JENABONUS entitlement card. Eligible persons can obtain the JENABONUS card from the Citizens' Service.

Jenabonus holders can also opt for the discounted Deutschlandticket. The 15 euro discount can also be redeemed at the Stadtwerke Jena customer center as a credit note with the next direct debit when the Jenabonus card is presented each month.
