Dr. Eckhard Schack from Jena receives Federal Order of Merit

Dr. Eckhard Schack from Jena received a special honour today for his extraordinary commitment to the Protestant church, particularly in the field of adult education. He was awarded the Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. Minister President Bodo Ramelow presented the award in a small ceremony in Jena in the presence of Jena's Lord Mayor Dr. Thomas Nitzsche.
