The ECO School Foundation supports student projects for "Bullying-free schools in Jena"
For over 10 years, the ECO Schulstiftung has been successfully supporting projects by pupils who want to get involved in social, charitable, innovative and imaginative projects.
The foundation has recently launched a new project entitled "Bullying-free schools in Jena". It aims to give pupils in Jena the opportunity to implement their own ideas for projects or events on the topic using the peer-to-peer approach. The peer-to-peer approach is understood to mean pupils for pupils on their own responsibility. Here, young people participate in the learning processes as partners and not as mere recipients. This places the issue of bullying in schools more in the spotlight.
Bullying is diverse, widespread and stressful.
Looking and acting, talking about bullying, acquiring knowledge, being mindful - that's what it's all about. In projects, pupils learn to recognize their own boundaries and those of others, to communicate with each other without violence and to respect themselves and others.
If required, pupils receive support in implementing the bullying-free days from the "Bullying-Free Schools Jena" network, which was set up specifically for this purpose. The network is made up of specialists from various professions who are particularly concerned about the issue.
The network offers active advice on the selection of methods, the placement of specialists and provides materials.
Hoodie" was chosen as the mascot for "Bullying-Free Schools Jena" - it can be borrowed by school classes as a hand puppet and serves as a companion and reporter.
