Elections of the district mayors of Jena-Süd and Closewitz on June 12

The Thuringian State Administration Office has now set Sunday, June 12, 2022 for the elections of the district mayors for Closewitz and Jena-Süd. Any necessary run-off election will take place on June 26, 2022.

The invitation to submit election proposals was published in Official Gazette 13/22 of 31.3.22. It also contains information for parties, voter groups and individual candidates.

Election proposals must be submitted to the election officer Matthias Bettenhäuser, Am Anger 15, 07743 Jena by Friday, 29.4.2022, 18:00 at the latest.
Any deficiencies in the election proposals must be rectified by 9.5.2022 at the latest. The election committee will decide on admission to the election on 10.5.2022.
