Corona case numbers

No new corona cases have been reported since 25 April 2020. Thus, the data remain as before: 158 corona cases in Jena, one person is undergoing inpatient treatment in the intensive care unit. In total there were 3 deaths. 149 persons are considered to have recovered, so there are only 6 active cases.

Demonstrations in Jena on May 1

The five registered demonstrations on 1 May were very quiet. All participants wore mouth and nose covers. For the meeting at the wood market with the topic Women*Strike more than 50 people could be observed on the square. The police pointed out that the minimum distance had to be observed. The crowd immediately complied with this request.
