Implementation of the new Thuringian ordinance from 13 June 2020
Tomorrow, Saturday, numerous relaxations will come into effect in Thuringia and thus also in Jena. The contact restrictions to two households or a maximum of 10 persons are recommendations, which the city of Jena strongly recommends to adhere to.
In addition, private and family celebrations with precautions to prevent infection are possible. From 11 persons upwards, contact tracing must be possible, for example a list. The names must only be reported to the Health Department in case of a corona infection among the participants.
Furthermore the following institutions can also open in Jena: Cinemas, orchestras, theatres, multigenerational houses, open senior citizen facilities, day care facilities and coach events. Orchestras and theatres sponsored by the state (play operation after 31.08.20), discotheques, music clubs, brothels and swingers' clubs remain closed.
For the city of Jena, the current general ordinance applies in addition to the Thuringian ordinance. This includes more extensive areas for the wearing of mouth-nose covers as well as regulations on the sales area per person.
