Corona case numbers

There are still 155 cases in Jena today, 2 people are undergoing inpatient treatment, one of whom is being treated in intensive care with a severe course.

There are a total of 3 deaths and 124 recoveries.

Emergency childcare

In the last few days, the city has received many questions on the subject of emergency care in daycare centers, which is currently being discussed by the federal and state governments.

The City of Jena has to refer to the state of Thuringia, which has not yet provided any detailed information, including on the extension of emergency care to other groups of eligible children. As soon as the state has made further specifications, the city of Jena will implement them immediately. Currently, the municipal facilities are already being prepared for a further, gradual opening.

Hotline for help with psychological stress

A new hotline is being launched immediately as an offer for people suffering from mental stress in connection with the corona pandemic. The hotline is available on 0049 3641 9390466 Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and is staffed by employees of the psychiatric clinic, the counseling centers and the city administration, who can refer people to currently available services if required.
