Corona case numbers
- Today, a new corona infection was reported for the first time since April 9th.
- This means that 156 cases have been recorded in Jena. 2 people are undergoing inpatient treatment, one of them in intensive care.
- The increase in recovered cases is very pleasing: 10 new cases have been added since yesterday. This means 144 recovered and only 9 active cases.
Extended store opening hours from tomorrow in Jena too
From Friday, 24.04., many stores in Jena that have a maximum sales area of 800 square meters or have limited this to 800 square meters will open again. However, this can only take place if strict hygiene rules are observed, face masks are worn and each customer is required to cover 20 square meters.
The following also applies to individual stores within shopping centers: if these conditions cannot yet be implemented, the sales outlet must remain closed. In addition, the new legal situation means that it is possible, but by no means compulsory, to reopen. Restricted opening hours are also possible in principle with reference to the special risk situation.

- Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 17:00
- Saturday / Sunday 10:00 - 14:00

The Thuringian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has just released the forms for applying for emergency care. These will be posted on the special coronavirus page by tomorrow.
