Quarantine certificate for the employer for returnees

The public health department of the city of Jena does not issue certificates or orders for quarantine after entry from risk areas. The general decree of the city of Jena for returnees from risk areas is sufficient as a submission to the employer.

The proof that you are returning from risk areas designated by the city of Jena must be provided by yourself, e.g. travel documents, receipts from gas stations, hotels, etc.

New returnees should nevertheless report to the public health department (reiserueckkehrer@jena.de and 0049 3641 49-3333), carry out self-monitoring and contact their family doctor if symptoms occur.

Supply of the nursing homes

The city of Jena provides the nursing homes and outpatient care services with protective equipment. In the past few days, the respective requirements have been determined. In the coming week, delivery is now to take place together with the German Red Cross. Some nursing homes had already received appropriate material from the LIGA of the free welfare care.

Campaign for mouth-nose-coverings starts: Jena shows mask

Starting Monday, the city of Jena will launch a communication offensive for the wearing of Mouth and nose masks especially in shops, markets and public transport. We all have a special responsibility not to infect those who maintain public life. Masks of any kind are a very good way to do this.

Since one is aware of the supply bottleneck, one wants to focus especially on sewing one's own Mouth and nose covers and support initiatives to this end.
