Advice on everyday life

The family counselling service of the city of Jena answers large and small questions about the organisation of everyday family life during the current crisis situation under the telephone number 0049 3641 49-2833 (hotline) Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 14:00 h. Psychologists and social workers are on the phones.

The goals are counselling on how to organise everyday family life (organisation of the daily routine, alternative employment opportunities, dealing with children's fears) as well as solution-oriented counselling in case of tensions and conflict situations in the family.

Urgent cases

In urgent cases, parental and separation or divorce counselling will continue to be offered by telephone.

Notification of risks to the best interests of the child

If you become aware of cases of possible child welfare hazards or if you see yourself and your children in such an emergency situation, please contact the General Social Service of the Youth Welfare Office (Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:00, Friday until 13:00) under the telephone number 0049 3641 49-2711 or the e-mail address asd@jena.de.
