Friedrun Vollmer becomes second director of JenaKultur

The Jena City Council has approved the appointment of Friedrun Vollmer as JenaKultur Plant Manager for "Cultural Development and Cultural Education". From October 2023, she will take over the management of Thuringia's largest municipal cultural enterprise together with Carsten Müller, the Plant Manager for "Central Management/Marketing/Tourism", and Jana Gründig, the Commercial Director. Most recently, the trained orchestral musician worked as the director of the Westphalian School of Music in Münster. From 2006 to 2018, Friedrun Vollmer was already part of the management team of JenaKultur and its facilities as Director of the Jena Music and Art School. JenaKultur is delighted that Friedrun Vollmer is returning to the City of Light.
