Further closures along the Forstweg bridge necessary with immediate effect

In the course of the replacement construction of the Forstweg bridge, there will be extended traffic restrictions in the Forstweg area with immediate effect. In addition to the existing full closure, pedestrian and cycle traffic will also be rerouted from 27.05.2026.

The construction work affects the area of Forstweg between house numbers 12 and 24. Due to the replacement of the bridge, the road is expected to remain fully closed until 20.12.2026.

Access from both directions is only possible up to the bridge. Depending on the progress of the construction work, there may also be additional parking and stopping restrictions at times.

From today, 27.05.2026, pedestrian and cycle traffic will also be diverted via Kochstraße, Magdelstieg and Hornstraße.

All road users are urgently requested to adhere to the existing traffic routing at all times. There is a considerable danger to life in the area of the construction site due to the existing excavation pit.
