Further corona cases in connection with the outbreak Angergymnasium

Yesterday, 4 infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the RKI by the health department.

One case was subsequently reported, 3 cases were detected by the series tests in the Angergymnasium and by contact persons.

This means that 6 people are currently affected by the corona infection. All cases are linked to the Angergymnasium outbreak.

The typing of the PCR test has now revealed evidence of the delta variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The sequencing results are expected at the weekend.

Further PCR tests were carried out today and even more positive results must be expected. Extensive quarantine orders were a consequence of the outbreak.
