"Germany sings"

Action in Jena on 3.10.2023 at 6 pm on the church square in front of the city church

After the wonderful experiences with impressive moments in previous years, a prayer with music to sing along to will take place again this year on German Unity Day at 6 pm on the church square in front of the town church as part of the "Deutschland singt" campaign.

The "Deutschland singt" campaign takes place every year on October 3 at over 200 locations throughout Germany. Songs of confidence and unity will be sung as a sign of peace and hope in many places in our cities.

Citizens are cordially invited to come to the church square in front of the city church on October 3 at 6 pm and sing some well-known songs by candlelight together with the Jena Philharmonic Choir, the choir singers of the Friedenkirche and Stadtkirche and the Jena Trombone Choir. The service will be led by Pastor Nina Spehr and Pastor Johannes Bilz.
