Germany sings and sounds on the Day of German Unity

01.10.2024

On the Day of German Unity, people will also sing together in Jena. The initiative "October 3 - Germany sings and sounds" invites all generations and cultures to sing and celebrate together on the market square on October 3, 2024 at 6 p.m., because singing together unites, gives strength and confidence.

The event is taking place as part of the celebrations surrounding the Day of German Unity, which the twin cities of Jena and Erlangen are celebrating together in Jena. For many years, citizens of both cities have visited each other on this day in alternating years. Around 200 guests are expected from the Franconian twin city this year.
