Hotline for fever consultation switched on
Hotline switched on
As of today, the city of Jena has set up a hotline on 03641-49 3333. People who have symptoms such as fever, headache or sore throat and therefore want to make an appointment for a fever consultation can contact this hotline. The hotline is available Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 19:00 and at weekends from 09:00 to 15:00.
The fever consultation, which is organized by the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in cooperation with the city, also carries out tests for the coronavirus. Please note that people are only admitted to the fever consultation by appointment.
GPs and the emergency medical service on 116 117 are also the first points of contact for suspected symptoms; only in severe cases should the emergency department at the university hospital be contacted beforehand.
The health department of the city of Jena does not carry out tests.
