Increased monitoring of wild boar for early detection of African swine fever (ASF)

In the district of Saale-Holzland and in the area of the district-free city of Jena, from November 15, 2021, those authorized to hunt must immediately report every wild boar found dead (fallen and accidental game) as well as every sick wild boar shot to the ZVL J-SH, stating the exact location where it was found or shot (if possible with GPS data).
