Information on road closures on Tuesday, 25.06.2024 - LOTTO Thüringen Ladies Tour 2024

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the world elite of women's cycling will be guests in Jena. Around 120 professional female cyclists will set off from Weigelstraße at 12.30 p.m. for a tour in and around Jena. There will be some road closures along the way. A diagram of the race route can be found under Downloads. Also the planning of the routes within the city area of Jena and the total route of the stage. Here are the details:

Start from 12.30 pm

First the tour leads from the city center to the north: Weigelstraße - Fürstengraben - Wiesenstraße - Am Steinbach - Rautal - Am Heiligenberg - Jägerbergstraße

There will be closures on this section of the route between 12:00 and 13:15

Passage from 14.45 hrs

Coming from the south, the route leads to the city center and then to the west: Göschwitzer Straße - Keßlerstraße - Lobedaer Straße - Stadtrodaer Straße - Löbdergraben - Fürstengraben - Straße des 17. Juni - Humboldtstraße - Erfurter Straße - Über dem Grund - Münchenrodaer Straße

There will be closures on this section of the route between 14:30 and 15:15.

Finish from 15.30 hrs

Coming from the north/west, the route leads to the finish in the center (Weigelstraße)

Rautal - Camburger Straße - Dornburger Straße - Am Anger - Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße - Am Planetarium - Bibliotheksplatz - crossing Fürstengraben - finish: Weigelstraße (around 3.45 p.m.)

There will be closures on this section of the route between 15:15 and 16:15.

Please note:

• Fürstengraben will be closed both to the start exit and the finish entrance.
• Due to the simultaneous closure of Kahlaische Straße, there will be considerable restrictions in the north-south connection between 3.15 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. with effects on the entire city center!
• It will not be possible to cross the affected road sections after the police vehicles with red flashing lights and flags have passed until the green flags have passed. Emergency vehicles will always have free passage.
• The time gap between the first and last driver can be up to 30 minutes.
• Rathausgasse and Weigelstraße are already closed on Monday, 24.06.2024, from 16.00 hrs.
• Eichplatz will be closed on 25.06.2024 between 6.00 am and 8.00 pm.
