Jena Children and Youth Study: Participation possible until January 31, 2025

09.01.2025

Since October 14, 2024, the city of Jena has been offering young people the opportunity to express their wishes and interests. In order to give even more children and young people the chance to take part in the survey, the city of Jena has decided to extend the survey period until January 31, 2025.

Why is the survey so important?

In order to create needs-based services for children and young people, the city of Jena has regularly surveyed young people living in Jena since 1998. It is important that many young people take part in the survey so that the interests of children and young people can be taken into account as much as possible when planning services. This is a direct opportunity to help shape their city.

What happens to the results?

The anonymously collected data flows directly into urban planning. They help to

  • Design leisure activities to meet demand
  • Provide contact persons for problems
  • Plan youth projects and facilities
  • to further develop school social work

Who can take part?

  • The survey is aimed at all pupils from year 5 onwards
  • Participation is possible via smartphone, tablet or computer
  • It only takes 15 to 20 minutes to complete the survey
  • School social workers are available to answer questions
