Georg-Büchner-Straße
- Type: Sectional full closure incl. sidewalk area

- Reason: Civil engineering works
- Details: Pedestrians will be guided safely past the construction site on the roadway. Access to the parking lots is guaranteed.
Church square
- Type: Traffic restrictions
- Location: Around the church

- Reason: Extensive construction work
- Details: The construction site is safe for pedestrians and access to the town church is guaranteed during the entire construction period. However, Saalstraße will be fully closed to transit/delivery traffic.
Spitzweidenweg

- Reason: New construction of charging infrastructure (civil engineering work)

2x Brückenstraße

- Details: The one-way street is passable in the direction of Kunitz. Out-of-town traffic will be diverted via the street "Am Steinbach".

- Location: between the construction site for the future traffic circle (Wiesenstraße / Brückenstraße) and the Kunitz house bridge

- Reason: Civil engineering work on the supply lines
- Details: The road width will be narrowed at the respective construction site, traffic can pass on both sides. As the work will primarily be carried out in the sidewalk area, restrictions for pedestrians are to be expected.
Dammstrasse

- Reason: Laying of pipes and renewal of the road surface
- Details: The construction work is divided into two construction phases. Pedestrians can pass the construction site safely. A detour for private traffic will be signposted on site.

Ernst-Haeckel-Straße

- Location: between Erbertstraße and Sellierstraße

- Details: Traffic will be diverted via the following route: Vor dem Neutor - Knebelstraße - Am Eisenbahndamm - Fürstengraben. Erbertstraße will be open to private traffic for the time being until construction progress requires it. Access to Sellierstraße from the direction of Ernst-Haeckel-Straße is closed. The construction site can be safely crossed on foot.
Grenzstraße

- Details: Pedestrians will be guided safely past the construction site using an emergency pedestrian route.
Hauptstraße (Jena-Isserstedt)
- Type: Closure on one side

- Reason: Maintenance work on the supply lines
Hermann-Löns-Straße
- Type: Half-sided closure
- Location: up to the junction with Mühlenstraße
- Duration: until 31.07.2024
- Reason: Laying of a medium-voltage cable
- Details: Traffic will be guided past the construction site by means of a mobile traffic light system.
Karl-Liebknecht-Straße
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: between Feldstraße and Brändströmstraße
- Duration: until 02.08.2024
- Reason: Laying of combined sewer on behalf of Stadtwerke Jena
- Details: Traffic will be widely diverted via Wiesenstraße - Am Anger - Camsdorfer Brücke. Bicycle traffic will be diverted via: Pestalozzistraße - Gabelsbergerstraße - Am Steinborn. Streetcar services will continue to run despite the construction work.
Keßlerstraße
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: between Göschwitzer Straße and Geraer Straße (1st construction phase)
- Duration: until 04.06.2024
- Reason: fundamental expansion in the area of Grenzstraße
- Details: A detour will be signposted. Pedestrians can pass the construction site safely.
Lichtenhainer Oberweg
- Type: Various restrictions
- Location: Tatzendpromenade junction to the access road to the P10 Zeiss parking lot
- Duration: until 31.12.2024
- Reason: Laying of district heating pipeline
- Details: From 25.03. to 30.06.2024, the work will initially be carried out with the road closed on one side. For this purpose, Lichtenhainer Oberweg will become a one-way street in the direction of Lichtenhain. A detour via Mühlenstraße will be signposted for traffic heading into the city. From July, the Lichtenhainer Oberweg will have to be closed to traffic in sections. The construction site is gradually working its way from the upper part of Lichtenhainer Oberweg towards Tatzendpromenade. Detour will be signposted via Friedrich-Körnerstrasse, Döbereinerstrasse and Philipp-Müller-Strasse. Stadtwerke Energie Jena-Pößneck asks for your understanding for the restrictions.
Lobeda Ost and Lobeda Altstadt

- Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cables
- Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.
Eastern Löbdergraben
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: between Steinweg and Lutherplatz

- Reason: Roadworks and media relocation
- Details: Traffic will be diverted via the following route Am Eisenbahndamm - Am Anger - Lutherplatz.
People on foot use the western side of Löbdergraben. - Addition: A new traffic route has been set up for road users wishing to drive from the eastern Löbdergraben towards the Fürstengraben junction. It is possible to follow the signs and drive through the bus stop area in the direction of the Fürstengraben junction. There you have the possibility to turnleft. When entering the track area from Löbdergraben, the streetcar must be given priority. We ask road users to drive carefully and considerately in this area.
Löbichauer Straße

- Location: Lower Löbichauer Straße (Karl-Liebknecht-Straße to Eschenplatz)

- Details: Pedestrians will be safely rerouted.
Moritz-von-Rohr-Straße

- Location: at the level of the university of applied sciences

- Reason: Civil engineering works (medium voltage cable)
- Details: The closure can be bypassed via Carl-Zeiss-Promenade. The construction site can be safely passed on foot.
2x Naumburger Straße
- Type: Half-sided closure
- Duration: until 31.07.2024
- Reason: Reconstruction of the "Stifterstraße" streetcar stop + installation of track replacement
- Details: During the construction period, a one-way street will be installed from the Zitzmannstraße junction to Altenburger Straße. The one-way street is passable in the direction of the city center. The construction site can be passed safely on foot.
- Addition: In the period 25.03. - 31.07.2024, additional civil engineering work must be carried out at the local transport construction site. Due to the additional track drainage with associated shafts, the road must remain fully closed in order to work in the construction area with appropriate equipment from the roadway. Individual traffic cannot flow due to the safety regulations to be observed. The road will then be closed again on one side only. As a result, the buses of the rail replacement service (SEV line E) will continue to take an alternative route.
The Stifterstraße stop is still closed and the Altenburger Straße replacement stop cannot be reached. Passengers are requested to use the Merseburger Straße stop instead.

Sickingenstraße

- Details: A subsidence of the road surface occurred last week in Sickingenstraße in Jena-West. The cause was determined to be a defect in a sewer. The JenaWasser association is now replacing the affected section of the sewer at short notice. Both streets will remain fully closed in this section until the work has been completed. A detour will be signposted on site.
Wöllnitz

Am Steinbach
- Type: One-way traffic
- Location: The street Am Steinbach will become a one-way street in the direction of Wiesenstraße.

- Reason: Preparation for major construction project "Wiesenstraße traffic circle"
- Details: During this period, the trafficisland for traffic turning into Naumburger Straße is to be constructed in preparation for the major construction project "Wiesenstraße traffic circle" so that large vehicles can also drive onto the B 88 without obstruction.
Traffic instructions for the training of the German national team
- Duration: 27.05.2024
- Details: It is recommended to use public transport or, even better, to walk or cycle to the stadium in order to reduce the volume of traffic in the city. The speed limit on Stadtrodaer Straße in the stadium area is 40km/h. A driving ban applies to Wöllnitzer Straße (local area and Jenertal to Am Stadion). An exception applies for residents.
- Parking: The parking guidance system and additional signage provide information about all available parking spaces. There are only limited parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity of the stadium. As soon as these parking spaces are occupied, the turning lanes from Stadtrodaer Straße to the stadium or the parking facilities will be closed. The Südbad parking lot will remain closed from Monday morning to secure the event site. As a result, the parking lot for guests of the Südbad and the beach bar cannot be used all day.
