Jena presents itself at EXPO REAL

The business location Jena presents itself at the largest European trade fair for commercial real estate in Munich. The EXPO Real will take place from 04. to 06.10.2022. Jena is part of the joint stand of the Metropolitan Region of Central Germany. Together, the Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft Jena mbH (JenaWirtschaft), the Department of Urban Development and Environment and the Eigenbetrieb Kommunale Immobilien Jena (KIJ) will present current Jena development projects and investment opportunities.

"Jena is the Jena is a successful location in Thuringia and Central Germany," says Christian Gerlitz, Mayor of Jena and Head of the Department for Urban Development and the Environment. "Our dynamic and future-oriented city offers excellent investment opportunities, and we want to show this to decision-makers and visitors at Europe's most important investment fair.

With more than 1,200 international companies, cities and regions as well as a diverse conference program, EXPO Real offers an optimal opportunity for networking. This is also appreciated by Markus Henkenmeier, Head of Economic Services at the Jena Economic Development Corporation:

"We exchange ideas at the trade fair with investor:ins, but also with project managers and other municipal decision-makers. This input often provides exciting ideas for our City of Light, and at the same time we can present our municipal projects and strategies to a broad professional audience."

Beate Wachenbrunner, the new plant manager of the municipal real estate company Kommunale Immobilien Jena, will also be present in Munich:
