#jenaliest: Photo competition of the Ernst Abbe Library Jena

Where do Jena's citizens prefer to read? On the sofa at home, on the terrace, on vacation at the beach, in Paradise Park or in the forest?

The Ernst Abbe Library in Jena is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year and is taking this as an opportunity to look for Jena's most beautiful photos on the subject of "reading". There are no limits to creativity. Whether photos of people reading, books, e-readers or magazines - any motif is welcome.

The only condition: The photo should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi or a size of 2 MB. The photos can either be submitted by e-mail (eab@jena.de) or published on Instagram with the hashtag #jenaliest.

The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2021, after which a jury made up of members of UNIFOK e.V. and EAB Jena employees will select the ten most beautiful photos. These will be exhibited in large format in the Goethe Galerie Jena from November. The photographer of the best picture will also win a photography taster course with the professionals from UNIFOK e.V.
