Jena's election committees still understaffed
The city of Jena is continuing to recruit volunteer election assistants. On September 26, the Bundestag election and the state election are expected to take place. For this, the polling stations must be staffed with electoral boards. They will secure the election process, count the votes and at the same time guarantee fair, impartial elections.
The target number of supporters is 1,300. In order to achieve this, many volunteers are still needed.
Depending on the task, poll workers receive between 55 and 80 euros in refreshment money for their work. Requests for location and function will be taken into account where possible. The electoral boards receive training in advance and are also supported by the administration on election day.
