Kerstin Haupt is spokesperson for equality in Thuringia

The representatives came together in Bad Blankenburg for the meeting of the state working group of municipal equal opportunities officers. They represent 55 commissioners in Thuringia. The meeting focused on the impact of right-wing populist movements on current women's and gender equality policy.

The LAG spokespersons were also elected. One of the five spokespersons is now the Jena Equal Opportunities Officer Kerstin Haupt. She has held this office since 2018. The expansion of the municipal and state-wide network for gender equality issues is particularly important to her. This term is not just limited to women - she is particularly concerned with the protection and promotion of minorities.
