Kick-off workshop for public participation Smart City project

Since September 2020, the city of Jena has been funded as part of the Smart Cities model projects of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community. We are currently in the strategy phase and are developing a digital strategy. Before this strategy is presented to the Jena City Council for a decision, we would like to involve the citizens of Jena and incorporate their ideas.

To kick off our workshop series, we cordially invite you to join us on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. to take a look at the Smart City project.

What are the key components of a digital strategy?
Why do we need this strategy?
What fields of action are there?

We want to discuss these and other questions with you.
After a short presentation in the conference room, the fields of action will be presented in various rooms.
