Kommunalservice Jena expands digital service

Jena, 05.06.2025 - Kommunalservice Jena (KSJ) is pleased to announce the expansion of its digital information offering: With immediate effect, virtual tours for the crematorium, the ceremony hall at the North Cemetery and the ceremony hall at the East Cemetery are now available on the KSJ website in the Funeral section in addition to the interactive tours of the North Recycling Center and the Jena Funeral Home.

With this new service, interested parties can get a comprehensive picture of the respective facilities from the comfort of their own home. The interactive tours provide a realistic insight into the publicly accessible areas of the buildings. It is easy and user-friendly to use: different levels can be selected via the right-hand sidebar and the view can be zoomed in or out as required. Users can navigate virtually through the rooms and move freely around the site using the arrows displayed.

The aim of this offer is to provide all citizens with a barrier-free opportunity to familiarize themselves with the conditions on site before a visit - whether for orientation, to prepare for a funeral service or for general information.
