Kommunalservice Jena (KSJ) hands over 500 euros for the Jena Hospice Association

18.12.2024

Christiane Klimsch and Monika Hirche from the Jena hospice were delighted to receive a donation cheque for 500 euros from KSJ plant manager Uwe Feige. The handover took place in a cozy atmosphere.

The campaign enabled citizens to purchase Christmas trees for a donation at Paul-Schneider-Straße 5 until December 15, 2024. This was the fourth time the donation campaign had taken place, and the third time the KSJ had taken over the transportation of the trees. This year, the Christmas trees were provided by a plantation in Altenburg.

Christiane Klimsch particularly praised the good cooperation between the KSJ and the hospice association.

"This cooperation shows how valuable mutual support is. I am also impressed every year by the commitment of the many supporters, without whom this campaign would not be possible," she emphasized.

The proceeds from the campaign go to the Jena Hospice Association, which is committed to supporting seriously ill and dying people and their relatives.

"We would like to thank everyone involved for supporting this wonderful tradition again this year," added Uwe Feige.
