Launch of new swap house

It is expected that Tauschhaus 2.0 from Kommunalservice Jena will open in mid-October. From 11.09.2023, household goods and items for children, among other things, can be donated. The aim of the project is to save resources and promote the reuse of items that are still usable.

How can you donate?

If you are interested, please bring your donation to Kommunalservice Jena, Löbstedter Straße 56, 07749 Jena, preferably packed in boxes and labeled. Donations are marked accordingly and can be dropped off during the opening hours of the Recycling Center North. From September 11 to 29, 2023, you can hand in usable and clean items that are simply too good to dispose of.

What items are you looking for?

- Household goods (including cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, crockery)
- Children's toys
- Books and magazines
- Movies, radio plays (no VHS or cassettes)
- Vases and flower pots
- Baby carriages, baby carriage seats and bicycles

Important: No electrical appliances or furniture will be accepted!
