When Eduard Rosenthal passed away in Jena in 1926, he was widely recognized as an outstanding legal scholar, a moderate politician, and a dedicated citizen of the city. To highlight Rosenthal’s extraordinary achievements and make them accessible to a broad public, numerous organizations are jointly hosting a celebratory symposium and exhibition at the Historic City Hall on September 18, 2026.
