Living on Hufelandweg: information event on October 1, 2019

On October 1, 2019, a public information event on the project-related development plan VBB-J 44 "Wohnen am Hufelandweg" will take place in the auditorium of the Nordschule (Dornburger Straße 31, Jena). The event will begin at 18:00. Representatives of the project developer and the commissioned planning office will present the concept for the new residential quarter and will be happy to answer your questions afterwards. All interested parties are cordially invited.

Background: "Living on Hufelandweg"

The municipal housing company jenawohnen is planning to build a residential quarter consisting of eight apartment buildings in the Jena-Nord district. The aim is to create family-friendly, socially acceptable living space with predominantly 3- and 4-room apartments. The site is located north of Hufelandweg and west of the street Am Nordfriedhof.

The application to initiate a development plan procedure was submitted to the city council on September 9, 2019. On October 17, 2019, the urban development committee will deal with the application and the decision to initiate the procedure.
