Local Alliance for People with Dementia Jena launches website
Since October 2020, the city of Jena has been a member of the nationwide network of Local Alliances for People with Dementia, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs. Together with the two main project partners Tausend Taten e.V. and the German Red Cross, the aim is to raise public awareness of the topic of dementia. In addition to advice for people with dementia and their relatives, training courses, further education and support are organized.
The services offered by the Local Alliance for People with Dementia Jena are now bundled on the website demenz-jena.de. Relevant information on the topic and the partners has been compiled. The "Demenzsensibe "l project, which promotes the successful participation of people with dementia in society and recognizes facilities that cater to the needs of people with dementia, deserves special mention.
The social planning team is happy to receive suggestions and requests for expansion. Contact persons are named on the page.
