Lord Mayor Thomas Nitzsche continues district tour
Lord Mayor Dr. Thomas Nitzsche continues his tour of Jena's districts to seek local dialogue.
Following the launch of the first district tour in spring 2023, visits to all Jena districts that had expressed an interest followed over a period of months. In this second round, Lord Mayor Thomas Nitzsche is now meeting with the district councils in person again as part of public district council meetings to which all citizens are cordially invited. The main aim is to find out more about the issues that are of particular concern to each district.
Twice a year, the Lord Mayor meets with all 30 district mayors to exchange ideas. The district tour format is an addition to this in order to take account of the diversity of the 30 districts with their different topics and wishes.
