Major planting campaign in Jena's city forest.

Next Saturday, 19.11.2022, the German Forest Protection Association and the Jena City Forest invite you to a public tree planting campaign on the Jena Cospoth. The campaign is supported by the association "Lauf- und Wander-Paradies Jena e.V." and members of the Thuringian Reservist Association. Between 10:00 and 14:00, the volunteers will plant 400 trees and shrubs, as well as planting acorns in the forest soil for a healthy and species-rich mixed deciduous forest.

To ensure that everything runs smoothly, interested parties are welcome to register for the tree planting campaign by 18.11.2022 at w.boss@sdw-thueringen.de(link sends email) and will then receive a walking route description. Tools are available at the planting site.

The Thuringia regional association of the SDW was founded on November 14, 1990. The Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald is an independent, non-governmental and predominantly voluntary organization. The focus of its tasks lies in objective, factual and comprehensive public relations work. The SDW Thuringia has set itself the task of protecting the forest and its diverse functions and preserving it for future generations.
