Major renovation of Moritz-Seebeck-Straße

Construction work on Moritz-Seebeck-Straße will begin on 03.05. 2021. The end of the construction project is planned for 31.10. 2021.

The road will be fundamentally upgraded from the Tatzendpromenade junction up to and including the Döbereinerstraße intersection.

Unfortunately, it is necessary for the Döbereinerstraße / Moritz-Seebeck-Straße junction to be fully closed for a maximum of 6 weeks during the construction period.

The construction work is a joint project of the City of Jena, JenaWasser and Stadtwerke Jena Netze GmbH.
All supply and disposal lines will be renewed and the road will be paved with asphalt. The sidewalks will be paved with concrete slabs.

Trees will be planted on the right-hand side of the sidewalk in the direction of Döbereinerstrasse.

The construction company will inform those concerned with current information, such as the installation areas for waste disposal containers.
