Mayor Thomas Nitzsche falls ill with coronavirus

On Monday, 13.06.2022, Jena's Lord Mayor Thomas Nitzsche received the positive result of a PCR test. The first symptoms had appeared in the morning and he immediately underwent a test.

All appointments in his presence have to be canceledfor this week. People who have had personal contact with him since Friday are asked to watch out for any symptoms. Regular rapid tests for the SARS-CoV-2 virus are also recommended.
