Meadow fire near Kunitz/ Laasan

On Saturday, 08.07.2023, a meadow near Kunitz/Laasan caught fire at around 13:30. The fire department deployed around 100 firefighters. They were able to quickly bring the fire under control and extinguish it, so that the operation was already over by around 3 pm. The fire affected an area measuring around 30 m by 100 m, outside of an inhabited area. The column of smoke from the fire was visible from afar.
