New nature experience region is inaugurated
Combining active recreation in nature with virtual worlds - "natura jenensis" makes it possible: On Saturday, 30.04.2022, the nature experience region "natura jenensis" with the nature experience center "forum natura" will be officially opened. We would like to invite all interested parties to attend:

The Schott Orchestra will provide the musical accompaniment. Lord Mayor Dr. Thomas Nitzsche and Environment Minister Anja Siegesmund will give welcoming addresses. Afterwards, guided tours of the renovated and converted Waldvilla will be available.
New nature trails
The new nature trails will then be opened from 11:00 am:
- Ottonian Trail (starting point: Ziegenhain terminus)
- NapoleonPath (starting point: Memorial Museum 1806)
- ForestPath (starting point: Schlauer Ux forum natura)

The mixed reality app, which allows you to experience shy animals, rare plants and historical figures up close thanks to 3D animation, augmented reality and 360° panoramas, will also be activated on this day.
