New traffic circle at Brückenstraße/Wiesenstraße opened

After 16 months of construction, work on the new traffic circle in Brückenstraße/Wiesenstraße has been completed. This marks the end of the extensive traffic restrictions in the districts of Jena-Nord, Löbstedt, Zwätzen and Kunitz. The opening to traffic took place today as part of a symbolic inauguration ceremony.

In addition to the traffic circle, new facilities for pedestrians and cyclists, adapted bus stops and new street lighting have been created.
