Newly designed containers for used textiles

The brightly colored containers for small waste and electronic waste have been in place at the container sites in the city for around a year now. These have proved their worth and the unsightly smearings on the containers have been significantly reduced.

For this reason, the municipal service now wants to extend this concept to the used clothing containers. This week, the first designed used textile containers were installed at Busplatz, at the Wöllnitz junction on the expressway, at Anger, at Alte Wiesenstraße, at the University of Applied Sciences and at Steinweg. The colorful containers are to be gradually installed at all 146 parking spaces.
