Tree felling at the Kritzegraben playground

Three trees will be felled in the area of the Kritzegraben playground this week. The reason for this is the construction of an angled retaining wall, which will secure the slope to the new electric charging stations in future. The retaining wall is necessary because there are several layers of rubble from the post-war period in the slope.

After completion, the retaining wall will be landscaped. Seven new trees will be planted to compensate for the felling.

The measure is part of the fundamental renovation of Sankt-Jakob-Straße.
