Start of school enrollment tests for 2026/27

The school enrolment examinations for all children whose main place of residence is in Jena and who are due to start school in summer 2026 are starting. Appointments can now be booked via the online calendar on the homepage of the Health Department.

Important:

For children with integration assistance - for example curative early education or an integrative place - an individual appointment is required. This also applies to children for whom a deferral has been requested or who are due to start school early. Parents can make these appointments by telephone on 03641 49-3282 (Monday - Thursday, 14:00 - 15:00) or by e-mail.
