Full closure due to tree felling work

The street Unterm Sande in the Jena district of Maua will be fully closed on 09.12.2025 from 07:00 to 14:00 at the level of the playground. The reason for this is urgently needed tree felling work on two ash trees. The trees are no longer stable as they have trunk and root rot due to fungal infestation (Hallimasch infestation). Replacement planting is planned for the trees.

A detour will be set up for private traffic via the Im Semmicht road and signposted accordingly. Residents will receive separate information about the closure and the planned measures in advance.

Despite the closure, the school bus service will continue to run as planned.
