Traffic restrictions due to registered rallies on Wednesday

Due to a registered rally, there may be traffic obstructionsin the center of Jena on Wednesday, 28.01.2026 from approx. 8:00 am to 12:10 pm. The following schedule is planned:

"University Action Day 2026" rally (approx. 8:00 - 12:10):

Registrant: ver.di Thüringen

• Number of participants: approx. 500 people
• Kick-off rally: approx. 8:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m., open space Johannisplatz
• Elevator: approx. 10:15 am - 12:00 pm

• Route: Johannisplatz - Krautgasse - Ernst-Abe-Platz - Teichgraben - Löbdergraben - Fürstengraben - Weigelstraße - Johannisstraße - Johannisplatz

• Intermediate rallies:

a) Ernst-Abbe-Platz, approx. 10:30 - 10:45 a.m.
b) Holzmarkt, approx. 10:55 - 11:05 a.m.
c) Löbdergraben, approx. 11:20 - 11:30 a.m.
d) Fürstengraben near the Thuringian University and State Library, approx. 11:40 - 11:50 a.m.

• Final rally: approx. 12:00 - 12:10, open space Johannisplatz

Road users are advised to allow extra time.
