Changed disposal dates around Good Friday and Easter

Due to the Easter holidays, there will be changes to the waste disposal collection dates. Kommunalservice Jena asks all citizens to note the changed dates.

Waste disposal dates brought forward (14th calendar week):

The emptying dates in the 14th calendar week will be brought forward by one day.
For example, the regular emptying of Monday, 30.03.2026, will already take place on Saturday, 28.03.2026.
The other dates will also be moved forward accordingly. The collection on Good Friday, April 3, will therefore already take place on Thursday, April 2.

Catch-up disposal dates (15th calendar week):

In the following week, emptying will be postponed by one day.
The regular collection on Monday, 06.04.2026, will therefore not take place until Tuesday, 07.04.2026.
The other dates will be postponed accordingly, so that the emptying on Friday, 10.04.2026, will be made up for on Saturday, 11.04.2026.

Kommunalservice Jena recommends providing the waste garbage cans in good time and taking the changed dates into account when planning.
