On the occasion of the Day of Liberation from National Socialism and the end of the Second World War in Europe 81 years ago, a public commemoration ceremony with wreath-laying will take place. Lord Mayor Dr. Thomas Nitzsche will introduce the topic. The city historian Dr. Jenny Price will give a speech.
