Broad alliance for movement, community and stadium feeling

Jena - When children conquer the "sacred turf" of the ad hoc arena in the Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld, families try out sports together and the stadium surroundings become a large exercise area, Jena is all about team spirit, health and community. On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the AOK AktivTag and the AWO Kicker Cup will bring together sporting competition, health promotion and shared experiences in a special stadium setting.

From the daycare soccer tournament on the stadium pitch to yoga, Zumba and exercise stations throughout the stadium, visitors can expect a colorful experience for the whole family. While 16 day-care centers from the Jena area compete for goals and trophies in the AWO Kicker Cup, the AOK AktivTag will set a visible example for exercise, prevention and being active together with numerous hands-on activities. Last year's defending champion, Kita Regenbogen, will also be taking part.

The AOK AktivTag & AWO Kicker Cup is supported by a strong regional partnership. The AWO Regionalverband Mitte-West-Thüringen e.V., AOK PLUS, elf5 Jena GmbH, FC Carl Zeiss Jena e.V., FCC Fußballschule, Stadtsportbund Jena and the City of Jena are all involved.

The partners share a common goal: to get children interested in exercise at an early age, to strengthen team spirit and at the same time to show the social power that arises when sport, prevention and social commitment work together.

The special setting also plays a central role. On this day, the Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld will not only be a stage for young soccer talents, but also a meeting place for the entire urban community.

Cheering in the stands and taking part in the numerous activities on offer at the AOK AktivTag are free of charge.
