Traffic restrictions due to a planned rally on Saturday

Due to a registered rally, traffic disruptions may occur in downtown Jena on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The following schedule is planned:

“Christopher Street Day Jena 2026” rally (approx. 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.):

Organizer: CSD Alliance Jena

• Number of participants: approximately 3,000 people
• Opening rally: approximately 1:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m., open area on Eichplatz

• Parade: approx. 1:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Route: Eichplatz– Kollegiengasse – Nonnenplan – Teichgraben – Schillerstraße – Engelplatz – Schillerstraße – Ernst-Haeckel-Straße – Vor dem Neutor – Knebelstraße – Am Volksbad – Kronengasse – Holzmarkt – Teichgraben – Leutragraben – Johannisplatz – Fürstengraben – Löbdergraben – Holzmarkt – Nonnenplan – Kollegiengasse – Eichplatz

   

• Intermediate rally: 

           a) Engelplatz/Schillerstraße
           b) Holzmarkt/Teichgraben
           c) Fürstengraben, near the main university building

• Closing rally: approx. 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.,open space on Eichplatz

Road users are advised to allow extra time. 
 

Parking is prohibited on the Westbahnhof forecourtduring this time. Illegally parked vehicles may be towed.
